OP Spotlight: Brynhildr in the Darkness

As discussed in our recent Animecast, Brynhildr in the Darkness has easily the most epic introductions of the Spring anime line-up. So in this edition of the OP Spotlight we highlight this orchestral and electronic masterpiece.

Titled “BRYNHILDR IN THE DARKNESS -Ver. EJECTED-” by Nao Tokisawa, this musical score again features a combined orchestral score that is remixed with traditional electronic remixes. While it features sound similar to something found in dubstep, it doesn’t push it to the point of outweighing the melodies that is inspired within it. Making for a really well-rounded song.

Coupled with that is a well-timed video to go along with it. Taking many queues from the song with perfect timing. Many key points in the music that ramps up are met with great impactful moments visually.  It all adds up to a stellar opening that makes me want more.
