Hatsune Miku Project DIVA F 2nd Gets Western Release Date

Sega finally announced today the release date for the sequel to its Playstation exclusive rhythm game featuring Hatsune Miku. Releasing in both digital and retail form, the title will be available on both Playstation 3 and Playstation Vita on November 18th in North America and Latin America. For the rest of the assigned countries, it will be available on November 21th.

Sega also announced that fans across the world who pre-order the game will be able to download Hatsune Miku’s Americana Module for free. This is an American-themed costume that features stars in red, white, and blue. A winning module design entered for the PiaPro collaboration at the 2011 San Francisco JPOP Summit Festival.

Additionally, those who pre-order at Gamestop will also receive the Extra Character Pack containing Akita Neru, Yowane Haku, and Kasane Teto. Though if you’re unable to get it at Gamestop and already purchased it for the original Hatsune Miku Project DIVA game, you’ll receive this pack for free.

We here at Otaku Spirit are huge fans of the series and cannot wait to get our hands on it. Stay tuned to our site because we are planning to do some video streaming of some amazing Hatsune Miku fun and would love for you all to join us.
