Spotting a Used Nendoroid or Figure

If you’re a collector of figures, or just have a select few choice figures that you just had to have, you have probably ran into the fear of fake or used figures when you pay for new.  While preparing for this week’s video submission to the Otaku Spirit YouTube channel, one of those very problems arose.  A used and damaged figure sold as a new one.

This ordeal sparked a new idea for the video.  Instead of just unboxing a Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya Nendoroid, we take a step by step journey and explain the things to look for when buying a figure to ensure not only that it’s brand new, but that it’s in proper shape. Figures are often works of art and thus should be sold as such. This video will help you ensure you get what you pay for!
