Episode 2 Impressions: Gonna be the Twin-Tail!!

What good is any super hero without a secret lair to hang out in when not out prowling for bad guys? Of course, a base is much more difficult to build than one would expect. It requires permission from mothers, and.. odd sound effects.

e2gonnabethetwintail4Synopsis
Following their recent victory against the Elemelians, Soji sits down with Aika and Twoearle to discuss just what the heck is going on.

Turns out, Twoearle isn’t from earth, but another planet that was attacked by the Ultimaguil. The Ultimaguil go from planet to planet in order to steal elemela, which is sort of the feeling you get when doing something you enjoy.

Turns out, the strength of twin-tails love is one of the strongest elemela of them all, and the Ultimaguil feed off this strength.

e2gonnabethetwintail2Thoughts
While still an off the wall bonkers show, this episode was a bit less entertaining than the first. Mainly due to its attempt at making a somewhat logical story. Of course, that’s never going to happen.

Outside of the “serious” information dump, we got some comical insight into the Ultimaguil commanders and each of their own silly fetishes. I also found Aika to be a bit more entertaining of a jealous girl type than most shows. Lashing out at the source rather than the protagonist like we see with most shows.

Hopefully this show kicks it back in high gear next episode. For now, we have a dud on our hands here!
