It’s not easy being a super hero, but it does serve a good purpose when people begin to imitate your obsessions. As Tailred gets more and more popular, so does twin-tails!

e4gonnabethetwintail2Synopsis
Soji is overjoyed to find that with the popularity of Tailred, comes a boom in the acceptance of the twin-tail hairstyle. Leading all the girls at his school to wear their hair in twin-tails. Not only that, but his application for a twin-tails club has been approved by the student council president!

Even with this great new revelation, the world isn’t clear of the threat that is the Ultimaguil. Quite the opposite, it’s in more danger than ever as Dragguildy himself enters the battlefield. As Tailred arrives to take him on, the two exchange a few blows before admiring each other’s obsession with twin-tails. Perhaps if they weren’t sworn enemies, they would be best friends.

As Tailblue, and even Twoearle enter the battlefield, the truth about Twoearle’s world is revealed. Along with the dangers earth faces going forward with the increase popularity of the twin-tail.

Thoughts
e4gonnabethetwintail5Another hilarious episode to put under this show’s belt. Again, absolutely stupidly bonkers kind of funny. A hero of justice facing off against a towering demon armored villain, only to have golden twin-tails sprout from him.  Then to watch the two of them admire eachother’s love for twin-tails.  It was laugh out loud silly.

I also can’t get enough of those random throw-ins of comedy.  People just love to randomly grab Aika’s hair.  Whether it’s Soji at school, or a horde of henchmen grabbing Tailblue’s hair in combat.

While I do believe the story is about as dumb as it gets, the factor of the growing popularity causing the Ultimaguil benefit was a decent twist.  Even if the concept of it is purely for milking some more comedy out of the craze for twin-tails the main protagonist has.  Though I am a bit interested in seeing if they keep Dragguildy around, and just how Tailyellow will spice up the chemistry.
