With the conclusion of the Summer 2016 Anime Season, the Animecast is here to give their take on how the season panned out. Kicking off the first of four review episodes covering hot titles like Re:Zero, Sweetness & Lightning, as well as many others.

The intro music for this episode is the OP for NEW GAME! called “Sakura Skip” by fourfolium (the cast). The outro for this episode is the ED for Berserk called “Beyond Closed Eyes” by Nagi Yanagi. Following the spoiler segment we play the ED2 for Re:Zero called “Stay Alive” by Rie Takahashi (Emilia). Following the outro song we play some remixes of Re:Zero characters from Anime Song Covers on Youtube.
