All too often we see cases of anime that seem rather cut short of their potential. Often leaving very large holes in their storytelling for the sake of drawing attention elsewhere. Things are really ramping up for the Treasure Hunting Club as the new arrival of Ikusaba Hiiyo threatens not only their ambitions for the treasures, but also their very lives. His past with the original club is painted in a dark aura and with him on the field, things just got much more risky. Read more »
After things seemingly settle between Juugo and the members of the Matsura allegiances begin to fall under question between different groups seeking the Treasures of Nanana. Things have always been obviously shaky between Juugo and Yukihime, however the reasons have remained unclear for quite some time. After the events at the hot springs however, Juugo gets a much-needed nudge to clear the air. Read more »

Things are looking rather grim for the world of Nanana’s Buried Treasure. We’ve been introduced to quite a selection of colorful characters, however the biggest downfall in this series seems to be in its excessive creation of characters and not its development of them.
